Food is the heart of Mexican culture. The country’s cuisine has a rich history inspired by a fusion of cultural influences. This September, we welcomed our guests and renowned celebrity chefs in honor of the authentic flavors of Mexico, celebrating with exclusive access to private, gourmet events at four luxury resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya. Unique culinary experiences at host resorts included cooking classes with executive chefs, artisan mezcal and tequila tastings, beer-making classes, themed gourmet dinners and more!

At Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa, our event was inspired by La Catrina, the female icon associated with the Day of the Dead, this night combined the arts of food and fashion. Guests savored the flavors of Chef Lalo Plascencia, a leading expert of Mexican cuisine, as designer Eder Sotelo Millan presented his La Catrina collection on the catwalk.
