June 13th-July 6th – Party with DJ Rhiannon Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday!

Spend a weekend at Breathless Punta Cana this summer, and you’ll get to party with DJ Rhiannon – #1 female DJ of Vancouver, Canada! She was a huge hit at our grand opening event, and we’re excited for her highly anticipated return. She’ll be spinning her hottest dance mixes on Friday and Saturday nights by the outdoor entertainment area, and Sunday afternoons at the pool between June 13th and July 6th. DJ Rhiannon will even be the headliner of our 4th of July bash (learn more below)!!

Early June – Stanley Cup Finals

In early June, you can watch your favorite NHL teams face off for the Stanley Cup on the big screen by the beach or pool (weather-permitting) or at the theater and enjoy hockey themed events, games, snack buffets and a full bar!

Starting June 5th – NBA Finals

Root for your favorite NBA teams when they compete for the winning title, starting June 5th! While you watch the games on the big screen by the beach, pool or theatre, you can enjoy basketball themed events, games, snack buffets and a full bar with premium brand beverages. Don’t forget your jerseys!

June 15th – Father’s Day

To celebrate dads, a champagne brunch will be held in the morning, with games & events throughout the day! Special activities such as cigar rolling may take place as well, along with possible spa specials fit for a king.

JULY

July 4th – Fourth of July (America’s Independence Day)

Celebrate the 4th of July with patriotic games and entertainment at Breathless Punta Cana. DJ Rhiannon will be the star of the show for this huge bash – and she’ll be spinning by the pool all day long! The night will bring a delicious beach BBQ with grilled favorites, patriotic premium brand beverages, more live music, and of course… fireworks!

August 29th-September 1st – Labor Day Weekend

Five Adventure Excursions to Plan in Punta Cana

There’s plenty going on at Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa to keep you busy for weeks, but if you’re feeling adventurous, why not take advantage of your time in the Dominican Republic to see some of what this incredible county has to offer? Below we’ve listed some of our favorite excursions, all within a couple hours of Breathless Punta Cana.

  • Altos De Chavón: A fascinating recreation of a 16th century Mediterranean village on a cliff overlooking the Río Chavón in the Dominican city of La Romana. Altos De Chavón’s narrow, cobblestone alleyways are home to Mediterranean-style restaurants, artisan and craft shops and art galleries and a 5,000-person Roman-style amphitheater.

  • Isla Saona: Take a catamaran, sail or speedboat to this scenic island located off of the south-east tip of the Dominican Republic to experience the incredible turquoise water and beauty of the limestone cliffs. You may even see some dolphins following your boat!

  • Santo Domingo: The capital city of the Dominican Republic is where the settlement of all the Americas began. Visit the first cathedral and the first hospital. Explore the cobblestone streets that wind through the Spanish colonial architecture and imagine that you’re back in the 1500s. Enjoy the fine entertainment and restaurants for your pleasure.
  • La Romana: Located approximately 1.5 hours southwest of Punta Cana, La Romana is one of the largest cities in the Dominican Republic and is known for its superior golfing, beautiful beaches and shopping area.
  • Higuey: This small historical town is renowned for its large Basilica honoring the Virgen de la Altagracia, patron saint of the Dominican Republic. Stroll the small streets and sample some of the delectable local cheese and fresh fruit from the local markets.
